I’m a blue haired artist (And Mermaid) with a passion for storytelling and picture books. Born in the UK not far from London, I moved to Cornwall to study illustration at Falmouth University…. but fell in love with the place and decided to stay! My life in Cornwall is of great inspiration to my artwork, especially my early morning sea swims and woodland walks.

My art is also heavily influenced by traditional fairy tales and old found objects. I love the challenge of picking up a random object and creating new quirky character based on its features.

Before graduating I also studied at William De Kooning in Rotterdam for 6 months. This time gave me a great space to really experiment with mixed media and sculpture… still an important part of my practice today.
