Diary of a daffodil

‘I, like many associate daffodils with the arrival of Spring. But have you ever wondered what a daffodil may think? How it feels about the season of Spring? Or even just what it would be like to be a flower?In my piece 'Diary of a Daffodil' I have imagined what a daffodil may say if it could write in a dairy... and I have found that flowers are much like people. They can't wait for warmer days, the bright light and a new sense of positivity. Daffi, the writer of my Daffodil Diary in particular looks forward to reemerging above the soil, putting feelings of seasonal depression being her and reconnecting with her friend the sun’.
