Never-my-name and Isn’t-my-name

”When Never-my-Name lost her fairy twin Isn’t-my-Name, she thought she would never see her again. But, with the help of an ancient dragon and a blast of fiery breath, they are reunited.”

‘Never-my-name and Isn’t-my-name is a collaboration with writer, Colin Stern. Together we have created a new, weird and wacky fairytale about a pair a fairy twins. Written as a poem, the picture book describes the adventure one fairy takes when she falls down a hole and into the den of a dragon. Meanwhile a concerned sister calls on pixie helpers to search high and low for the missing fairy.

'They were playing on the mountainside amongst the silver birch’

‘Never-my-name looked high and low…’

‘She called for fairy helpers..’

‘Upon his heap of gold…’

‘…my fairy Mum arranges the way I’m named.’

‘I’m rather up the spout.’

‘…Please excuse my fiery breath.’
